To stay inspired and achieve something you need to keep learning. One of the best ways to learn something new is to keep reading and gaining knowledge. Today reading is not only limited to books or novels as simple quotes written by various famous personalities can help you gain huge motivation. These can be quotes on success, punctuality or even your personal life. There are quotes aimed to affect both your personal as well as professional lives. We often make the mistake of overlooking some of the best quotes in life thinking that they are just meant to be shared with friends. But if you read them closely and try to implement them in your life then you will surely witness a positive change in life.
No matter how excited or energetic you are on a particular project, you always come to a point in life where you feel the lack of motivation. In order to have consistent efforts and stay committed you need to keep pushing yourself. One of best ways of moving forward and setting new goals is to read through some of the best motivational quotes and gain motivation through them.
Have you ever experienced a change in your life through a simple quote or any speech? Great quotes are always inspirational and they help in shaping up various decisions in your life. When you are motivated you get a direction and you get the power to take an initiative. No matter at what point of your career you are, a speech or a quote can always do wonders for you. There are times when you have the desire to achieve something but you lack in confidence. You require the inner power to push yourself towards it, by gaining the energy and the courage to reach the goal.
You might have come across various quotes being shared among your friends and understand the inner meaning too. These quotes are not just meant for sharing but they also prove to be a learning curve for most of us. It is important to dream and take a step forward to achieve your dream. The desire to move forward and be successful can always help you achieve your dream. If you feel lost or there are negative thoughts prevailing in your mind, it is important to focus on areas that can give you peace of mind and keep you stress free.
Staying far from stress and generating positive thoughts is the key to success. Even a single sentence can bring a much required change and bring a positive turn in your life. Try to take responsibility for everything that happens around you and never blame others. Once you start accepting responsibility for everything that has happened, you will automatically realize the much required change and work toward harder.
Talent is nothing without confidence, if you want to use your talent to achieve something you need to keep yourself motivated. Keep working hard and never say no, once you start accepting failure, you will automatically start improving. You don’t achieve anything in a single day and remember always share responsibilities. If you feel that you can do everything on your own then you are probably wrong. Every business requires people to share responsibilities and work on the projects assigned to them. Working as a united group is much better than trying to achieve everything as an individual. Stay united and work towards a single goal. Instead of focusing on a self-oriented goal, it’s always fun to achieve something as a team.
Have you ever read a particular line of text, or heard a good sentence that resonates with you for a long time, leaving you motivated and keen to do good work? I’m sure you have, but probably don’t remember all too much of it. Here are some very good examples that you should listen to, because hopefully it will knock some sense into you and stop procrastinating.
“The more you lose yourself in something bigger than yourself, the more energy you will have” Norman Vincent Peale
This goes back to our first post on purpose. What exactly are you working your butt off for?
“What lies behind us, and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
This quote talks about what is important to you. What values you have, what kind of behaviours you project.
“To be awake is to be alive.” – Henry David Thoreau
More of a ‘I’m so lucky to be alive’ type quote, this is an important one because it highlights the very importance of getting people to do certain things.
Why I Procrastinate
Well, this is absolutely normal behaviour – however I truly believe telling someone to ‘just stop procrastinating and you’ll be fine’ is very ineffective.
The procrastinator is in the bad habit of pushing things off till later, addicted to not doing any work. But when he does go out of his way to get things to happen, he still puts in a half arsed effort, using lousy methods that don’t work to get his abilities done. Deep down he knows that things have to change, but for the life of him he can’t muster up the necessary courage to do the right thing and fix his life. Don’t be this person.
Well, you should know all about making money already, don’t you? However, being a successful person is a completely different thing. When it comes to being successful, hard work and lots of work ethic is pretty much the only difference in between those who are talented yet failed, and those that are hardworking enough to overcome deficiencies in talent.
We tend to think that we’ll fail all the time simply because we didn’t work hard enough, didn’t push long enough or don’t know how to master a specific skill. Thankfully, this idea is stupid and false. There is plenty of research out there that proves if a person can actually succeed in life. It is a combination of talent, and the hard work people put in. You don’t have to look very far for this to be true. Look at Kobe Bryant, Warren Buffett etc. They are talented, but nobody doubts the work Kobe slaves away in the gym for.
Whether you are struggling to get going or just want a kick start on a new project, here are some quotes to inspire you (hopefully)
“Talent is cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.” – Stephen King
Well, I don’t really agree with the ‘cheaper than table salt’ bit, but I guess you get the idea.
“Nobody ever drowned in his own sweat.” – Ann Landers
Damn right nobody has. So get your butt off to the gym right now!
“The dictionary is the only place that success comes before work. work is the key to success, and hard work can help you accomplish anything.” – Vince Lombardi
Hope you all get the message by now. Speak soon!
Not really a good source to read from, but here’s a quick inspirational video for you!
Hello everybody, welcome to Quote Summit! I hope this website continues to inspire people to do great things. The thing I’m working on here, is coming up with a long list of quotes and ideas that you should implement in your life. These are just some of my favourite ones, and if you like what you read feel free to quote me on them. See what I did there?
Today’s topic: quotes on ‘passion’. I know, you might think this is nothing more than the random block of text you see on a girl’s Instagram feed, but I can assure you that this is much more than that. Passion is the energy and drive that keeps you going every single day. There are plenty of things that we need to fix in our daily lives, and our ability to distill goodness and meaning from what other people say/do is very important. You always want to do 150% of effort all day, because that is pretty much the only way you’ll learn.
Some notable quotes from my favourite authors:
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”
This is a really good one. You have to keep Harriet Tubman’s quotes in mind whenever you are performing a new task or launching a new project. It’s going to be very hard (nobody said it was easy) but as long as you dream you’ll be alright.
“Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.”
Well said, Oprah. You need to find something that you enjoy doing, otherwise you won’t be very happy doing so. This is why so many Generation Y people are all about ‘finding themselves’ these days. Here’s another quote with a similar message:
“If you don’t love what you do, you won’t do it with much conviction or passion.”
Hope these quotes inspire people! Next time, I’ll be back talking about quotes of other forms. See ya!
